Licenses

What type of license does R3el offer?
All of our content is licensed on a rights managed basis and are worldwide. You can choose a license for the following uses:

  • All Media (Excluding Theatrical release)
  • All Media (Including Theatrical release)
  • Advertising
  • Corporate
  • Educational Use

You can license content for up to five years, ten years or in perpetuity. Please email info@r3el.com for more information.

Can I see your license agreement?
Yes please email info@r3el.com and we can send you a copy.
How do I license a clip?
You'll need to select which use you want license your clip for and for how long. You can then check-out online, using your credit card or BACS or get in touch with us directly. Once we have received payment, you'll be sent your clip in the quality you desire.

How do I download my order?
You’ll receive an email from us with a sohonet filerunner download link and instructions how to download your clip.

Can I become a R3el partner?
Yes, we’re always happy to hear from content owners who would like to us to represent their content collection. Please send us an email with a brief description of your content and your contact details to info@r3el.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can

Can I get a refund?
No, we don’t offer refunds.
Where can I leave feedback?

Do I still need to clear footage?
Any third party clearances e.g. image rights of a person will need to be cleared by the end user i.e. you. R3el owns the copyright or represents the copyright owner of the actual footage.
How can I use the downloadable comp?
You can use the watermarked low res files to see whether a clip works in your edit. They cannot be used for internal presentations or the end product though.
Which formats do you offer?
We offer SD, HD, 2K and 4K. Please contact us on info@r3el.com with your technical requirements.
Do you offer research?
Yes, we do. If you have trouble finding on our site what you were looking for, then please don’t hesitate to contact us on info@r3el.com.
How does your pricing work?
We like a more personal approach at R3el and that’s why we like to speak to you about your productions and how we can help. This will also allow us to price up the clips in such a way that it works for you. Generally speaking, though our clips are priced on the type of license/ use you need and the duration you need them for.
